Natural Park of Paneveggio

Meadows dotted with beautiful chalets, not far from Forte Buso Lake, coming from Bellamonte towards Rolle Pass, there is Paneveggio (1524 mt above sea level), with its Visitors Centre that tells about the Wood of the Violins. This is its name because the pine trees are known for their resonance. The can be also 40 mt. high.

A part of the centre is dedicated to the native animals like deer, chamoises, roes, grouses, foxes and the golden eagle.

Not far from the centre, there is the enclosure of the deer, where you can watch these magnificent animals. From the visitors centre you can leave for the naturalistic walk Marciò, with illustrated and guided observation points.
